Which pathway should staff take?
Whichever matches the role. There are eleven, covering areas such as food and beverage service, wine service, barista, concierge and guest services, and conference and events. Tell us the job and we'll confirm the right one.
How is it assessed?
Through a portfolio of evidence gathered in the workplace — observations, witness statements and professional discussion — so staff keep working while they qualify.
Does it link to apprenticeships?
Yes. The diploma supports delivery of the Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard and can be used to check readiness for end-point assessment.
How long does it take?
It depends on the pathway and how quickly evidence builds. The concierge pathway, for example, carries 310 guided learning hours. We'll agree a realistic timescale with you.
