Which card will operators get?
For construction sites, the NPORS-CSCS card — the red trained operator card for new entrants, or the blue competent operator card where the relevant NVQ is held. Other sectors can use the traditional NPORS card.
Do they need a health and safety test?
The CSCS-logo cards require a current NPORS or CITB health, safety and environment test passed within the previous two years. We'll tell you what's needed.
Can you test on our site?
Yes — provided a machine is available for training, the area is segregated from live works, and welfare facilities are in place.
