Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Dovewell Training wants everyone to be able to use this website, find course information and get in touch. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How accessible this website is

We have built the site so that:

• text resizes and reflows without loss of content when you zoom in
• the layout works on phones, tablets and desktop screens
• colours meet contrast requirements for text and interface elements
• the site can be navigated with a keyboard, and focus is always visible
• images have alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
• headings, landmarks and lists are marked up so screen readers can navigate the page
• menus and expandable sections tell assistive technology whether they are open or closed
• animation is reduced automatically if your device is set to reduce motion

Known limitations

We are aware of the following, and are working on them:

• The moving photographs on the home page cannot currently be paused by a control on the page. They stop when you hover over them, and do not move at all if your device is set to reduce motion. A pause button is planned.
• Some awarding body logos are supplied to us as low-resolution images and may blur when magnified.
• [Add any PDFs, booking systems or third-party tools used on the live site — documents and embedded systems are the most common accessibility gaps.]

Training in accessible formats

If you need course information, joining instructions or training materials in another format — large print, easy read, audio, braille or a different file type — contact us and we will provide it. Tell us what you need and we will agree a timescale with you.

We also make reasonable adjustments for learners on our courses. Let us know when you book, so the trainer can prepare properly and discreetly.
