What's covered
Every session is practical, and tailored to the way your team actually works.
- N726 Quick Hitch Awareness — one day, covering hitch types, locking checks and the failures that drop buckets
- N020 Tiltrotator System — one day on operating and changing a tiltrotator safely
- N100 Excavator as a Crane — lifting operations with an excavator; typically five days as a novice, or two days added to an existing NPORS excavator card
- N138 Telescopic Handler Suspended Loads — two days added to an existing NPORS telehandler card, or five days from novice
- N402 Slinger / Signaller — two days, all types and all duties: slinging, accessories and directing the lift
- N401 Appointed Person — five days for the person planning lifting operations
- N405 Crane / Lift Supervisor — three days supervising lifts on site
- N027 Excavation Marshal (Banksperson), N133 Plant Machinery Marshal and N403 Vehicle Marshal — one day each

Can we add lifting to an existing card?
Yes — that's the usual route. N100 for excavators and N138 for telehandlers both have a two-day add-on version for operators who already hold the relevant NPORS machine card.
Who needs slinger/signaller?
Anyone attaching loads to a machine or directing the operator. It is a two-day NPORS category (N402) covering all types and all duties, and it is commonly run alongside a machine course.
What's the difference between appointed person and lift supervisor?
The appointed person plans the lifting operation and produces the lift plan (N401, five days). The lift supervisor makes sure the plan is followed on the day (N405, three days).
Do you cover inspection of lifting accessories?
We can cover pre-use checks of chains, slings and shackles as part of training. Formal thorough examination of lifting equipment is a separate discipline — tell us what you need and we'll be straight with you about what is and isn't an NPORS category.
Can these run on our site?
Yes. The marshalling and slinging categories in particular work best on your own site, using your own lifts and traffic routes.
